Card Send is a new feature that lets you transfer funds from your Absa Debit or Credit Card to other Visa cards, both locally and internationally. It’s not only quick and secure but simple to do on the Absa Mobile Banking App.

  • How to do a CashSend at an ATM

    1. Insert your card and enter PIN
    2. Select the “More” services option
    3. Select “Purchase money Voucher” option
    4. Enter value of voucher to be purchased 
    5. Enter mobile number of recipient
    6. Confirm transaction
    7. Money voucher ID is displayed and receipt printed
    8. Send the 4 –digit PIN and the voucher ID to the recipient to claim funds
  • How to redeem a CashSend

    1. Select “cardless services”
    2. Enter money voucher ID and PIN provided by sender
    3. Confirm transaction
    4. ATM will dispense the voucher amount
  • How to do a fund transfer (Absa to Absa)

    1. Dial *233#
    2. Enter PIN
    3. Select option 3: Funds transfer
    4. Select option: 1. To own Absa account 2. To other Absa account
    5. Select registered (If beneficiary is on your list of payees) or unregistered (and input the account details)
    6. Enter amount to be transferred 
    7. Select account to transfer from
    8. Press 1 to confirm the transaction
    9. A confirmation screen is displayed
  • How to transfer to mobile wallet

    1. Dial *233#
    2. Select the ‘M-Wallet’ option from list
    3. Select Funds Transfer to "Airtel Money" or "MTN Mobile Money"
    4. Select if you are sending money to your own number or another number
    5. Select if this is a one-off transfer or a transfer to an existing beneficiary
    6. Input the customer mobile number
    7. Input the transaction amount
    8. Select the account to be debited
    9. Press 1 to confirm the transaction
